It's easy to see why people are talking about Hollie Dykes. The 16 year old is one of Australia's top gymnasts, her extraordinary grace and agility setting her miles apart from her rivals and peers. Originally from Queensland she now resides and trains at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, an institution renowned for producing gymnasts of immaculate presentation and finesse. Hollie finished 1st All-Around at the 2005 International Challenge, 2nd All-Around at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival, and 2nd All-Around at the 2005 Australian Gymnastics Championships. Reminiscent of a Romanian or Chinese gymnast, the young star is well on her way to success at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, for which she has goals to 'win a gold medal'. Hollie has already garnered world-wide popularity for the beauty of her gymnastics and people are really starting to sit up and take notice.
